Job summary

InfoTech Group is seeking a System Engineer with hands-on Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and cloud/on-premises infrastructure, plus strong troubleshooting and client-handling skills.

You will work as a technical consultant on projects both on-site and remotely, create migration strategies for cloud and on-premises servers and databases, and address security and compliance issues in the Microsoft on-prem stack.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of IT infrastructure experience
• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Hands-on knowledge of Windows Server, AD, and cloud/on-premises infra

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical consultant on projects with on-site and remote work

Job description

We are looking for a System Engineer with hands-on experience in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and cloud/on-premises infrastructure, with strong troubleshooting and client-handling skills

General Overview Of Duties & Responsibilities

• Work as a technical consultant on projects assigned. Ability to work with customers both on-site & remotely
• Create migration strategy for cloud, on-premises servers & databases to cloud or vice versa
• Identify and remediate security and compliance related issues in Microsoft on-prem stack as per client needs
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory Environment (PR & DR site), backups, compliance, patch management
• Conducting Workshops on Microsoft technologies for various clients as per requirement
• Planning and execution of assigned projects related to Microsoft op-prem stack as per requirement

Work Experience & Skills

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in related field or equivalent
• Microsoft Certification as per latest technologies stack will be an add-on
• Strong and practical knowledge of IT Infrastructure including Servers, Systems and Networks
• Hands-on experience of Active Directory architecture, Microsoft Exchange, SQL, SCCM, SharePoint & Office 365 etc.
• Ability to select and use appropriate tools for the job and perform technical research as required
• Excellent client interaction skills, collaborative work style, and strong interpersonal and team skills
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio) to accomplish daily business activities and facilitate communications
