Job summary

ICE Consulting - Managed IT & Cybersecurity for Life Sciences in Lahore, Pakistan is seeking a seasoned System Engineer to lead complex MSP projects. You will deploy, modify, monitor and maintain on-premises and cloud infrastructure, integrate cloud apps, and drive improvements across Office 365, G Suite, and VMware environments.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of systems administration, 2+ years of Microsoft 365 migrations, and strong skills in AD, DHCP, DNS, and backup technologies.

Qualifications

• 4+ years Systems Administration experience.
• 2+ years Microsoft 365 experience including migrations.
• Extensive experience with AD, DHCP, DNS services.
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining VMware infrastructure.
• Experience with enterprise storage (NetApp or similar).
• Knowledge of Office 365, G Suite administration and Azure Directory.
• SSO/MFA integration across cloud apps and security best practices.

A seasoned System Engineer who has experience working with consulting teams in an MSP setting. You are no stranger to managing large and complex projects. You stand out among other candidates because you possess strengths with key project characteristics from communication, preparation, monitoring, and management of project budgets, scope, schedules, risks, resource planning, and other project KPIs. You have a proven track record of dealing directly with and taking full responsibility/ownership of client relationships and can easily evaluate the customer's needs and provide the right solutions.

This is a new position, to be located at our corporate offices in Lahore, Pakistan. The role requires the ability to pull detailed data, analyze it, and provide recommendations based on their understanding of the processes, people and/or system(s) they are working with. Your project scope will fluctuate based on the business needs, you will be responsible for deploying, modifying, monitoring, and maintaining systems infrastructure on-premises or on-cloud. You will also have to integrate and maintain cloud-based applications and systems. Our environment looks like this:

Requirements

• Extensive experience and knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS services
• Extensive experience and knowledge of installing, configuring, and maintaining VMWare infrastructure
• Extensive experience and knowledge of configuration and maintenance of enterprise storage such as NetApp or alike
• Extensive experience and knowledge of installing, configuring, and maintaining Veeam backup software
• A full understanding of Microsoft 365 and G Suite administration and experience supporting complex environments
• In-depth knowledge related to the Office 365 applications and features including Azure Directory
• Experience with SSO/MFA integration between Office 365, G Suite, Box and other major cloud service providers
• Experience with MDM solution such as Workspace One is a plus
• Windows Power-shell experience related to Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and Exchange Server
• Understanding of systems engineering and platform architecture
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience implementing and supporting Office 365 in medium-sized environments
• Strong knowledge related to email security and security practices in general
• Exposure of supporting systems on AWS and AWS backup is a plus
• Exposure to patch management, image building (preferably using MDT),
• Must have at least 4+ years Systems Administration experience
• Must have 2+ years of Microsoft 365 experience including migrations
• Professional and can take full ownership of individual tasks to deliver in a timely manner
