Job summary

Disrupt is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to ensure reliable connectivity, security, and performance across networks, servers, and security components.

The role involves hands-on server and endpoint security administration, on-call rotation, and collaboration with IT professionals to optimize systems while staying current with industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in systems engineering or similar role with hands-on infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of antivirus/endpoint security solutions is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support to users and serving as the initial point of contact for problem resolution.
• Facilitating users' onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions.
• Monitoring and maintaining clients and servers’ infrastructure.
• Installing, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting antivirus/endpoint security solutions on end-user devices and servers, including ensuring protection status, policy compliance, and remediation of security alerts.
• Installing and configuring computer hardware, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Installing operating systems, application software, and security controls on all end-user
• Managing user accounts and access controls.
• Gathering and analyzing data to diagnose problems with computer systems.
• Documenting system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and reference.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in systems engineering or a similar role, with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing systems infrastructure.
• Hands-on knowledge and experience with antivirus and endpoint security solutions is mandatory.
• Knowledge of servers operating systems (Windows, Linux/Unix).
• Experience with system performance monitoring, tuning, and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud environments.
• Relevant certifications such as MCSE or equivalent are a plus.
