Job summary

Multan's Buch International Hospital is seeking an experienced Surgical Store Manager to oversee daily operations, inventory control, and the supply chain for surgical materials. You will ensure timely delivery to operating theatres, maintain stock accuracy, and coordinate with procurement to prevent shortages.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a Surgical Store within a tertiary care hospital, with strong team leadership and infection control knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM is required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of hands-on Surgical Store management in a tertiary care hospital.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Surgical Store efficiently.
• Maintain inventory levels of surgical items, consumables, and instruments.
• Ensure timely supply of surgical materials to Operation Theaters and relevant departments.
• Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and batch numbers of surgical supplies.
• Coordinate with procurement and vendors for timely purchasing and replenishment.
• Maintain accurate stock records in inventory management systems.
• Implement proper storage standards and infection control guidelines for surgical supplies.
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliation.
• Ensure cost control and prevention of wastage or pilferage.
• Supervise and guide store staff and assistants.
• Prepare inventory reports and consumption analysis for management.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
