Job summary

Qualifications

• Possess 5–7 years of relevant work experience, including 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Urdu.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage allocation of the Operation Theatres (OT) according to the approved schedule.
• Monitor, supervise, and train OT Technicians and CSSD Technicians in coordination with surgical specialties.
• Ensure all equipment is functional and ready before OT allocation.
• Plan and maintain adequate OT staffing to meet patient care needs.
• Maintain records of procedures, theatre time utilization, and end-user feedback.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement, and accreditation related to OT services.
• Ensure readiness of OTs for emergencies and manage critical situations.
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols and proper disposal of biomedical waste.

Job description

• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and accreditation requirements related to OT services.
• Ensure readiness of the OTs for emergency procedures and manage critical situations effectively.
• Ensure adherence to infection prevention protocols and proper disposal of biomedical waste and sharps in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Preferably MBBS / BDS/ BS or MS in Allied Health Sciences / BSN or MSN / MHPE or equivalent qualification with 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience, including 2 to 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making and interpersonal skills.
