Job summary

Pakistan Digital Authority is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide analytical and decision-support support to executive management. The role focuses on budgeting, performance monitoring, and financial discipline to optimize public funds in line with the National Digital Masterplan.

The successful candidate will perform scenario modelling, prepare management reports, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Professional certifications (ACCA, CMA, CPA, CFA) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day financial analysis support to executive management, including ad hoc analyses and scenario modelling.
• Analyse budget utilization, expenditures and performance against plans, identifying variances and risks.
• Support preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections with analytical inputs and assumptions.
• Prepare periodic management reports and dashboards highlighting key indicators, risks, and recommendations.
• Assist in evaluating financial implications of projects, procurements, contracts, and policy proposals.
• Support cash flow analysis and monitoring to ensure timely availability of funds.
• Consolidate financial data for internal reviews, audits, and reporting to oversight bodies.
• Maintain financial models, databases, and analytical tools to support decision-making.
• Coordinate with finance, procurement, and program teams to ensure data consistency.
• Ensure compliance with financial rules, ethics, and internal controls.
