Pakistan Digital Authority is seeking a Senior Finance professional to lead its accounting and financial reporting functions, including the SAP transition, accrual accounting, and preparation of statements. You will supervise staff, deliver management reports, and coordinate with auditors and government offices to ensure compliance.

The role requires 7+ years post‑qualification experience, strong analytical and Excel skills, and proven stakeholder management in a public‑sector or IPSAS

Qualifications

• Membership of a recognized professional accounting body (CA/ACCA/CPA/CMA) is required.
• Experience with IPSAS/public-sector accounting preferred.
• Hands‑on experience implementing or operating SAP or a comparable ERP system is preferred.
• At least 7 years of post‑qualification experience in financial statements, accrual accounting, and management reporting.

Responsabilités

• Lead implementation of finance processes in SAP, including COA mapping and reporting requirements.
• Maintain accrual-based accounting records and supervise monthly/year-end closings.
• Prepare annual financial statements and schedules per PDA framework.
• Produce monthly/quarterly budget vs actual reports, cash forecasts, and dashboards.
• Coordinate with external auditors and government offices on accounting matters.
• Develop procedures, reporting templates, and SAP finance controls; train staff.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to the Executive Director Finance & Procurement.
