Job summary

LNH, based in Karachi, seeks a procurement professional to manage quotations, vendor negotiations, and purchase orders for linen/uniforms. The role includes supplier onboarding and following up to ensure timely delivery.

You will prepare comparative statements, maintain purchasing records, and coordinate with Inventory, Finance, and end users for smooth operations. Oracle ERP and MS Office experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• MBA / Masters in Supply Chain or equivalent education with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferably in procurement of linen/uniforms/printed material category.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Should be able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced work environment.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office. Experience in Oracle ERP will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collect quotations and hold initial negotiations with the vendors.
• Prepares and verifies the comparative statements.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders and follow ups for timely delivery.
• Explore, evaluate and induct new potential suppliers as per the SOP.
• Arrange local purchases as and when required.
• Coordinates for replacements of rejected items and/or purchase returns.
• Manage records related to purchasing activity.
• Keep close liaison with Inventory, Finance, Internal Audit and end users, as and when required for the smooth functioning of the Purchase Department.
