Job summary

Sui Southern Gas Company Limited in Karachi is seeking an MBA in Supply Chain with 2+ years of procurement experience to assist in evaluating case files, preparing commercial reports, and placing purchase orders within bid validity. The role requires familiarity with PPRA rules and ensuring timely supplier deliveries post-approval.

Candidates should have CSCP or equivalent as an added advantage, and experience with Oracle Financial Systems is desirable.

Qualifications

• MBA preferably in Supply Chain from an HEC recognized university with at least 2 years of experience.
• CSCP or equivalent certification is an added advantage.
• Experience of PPRA rules and regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The main mandate is to assist in evaluation and scrutiny of case files after bid opening and prepare commercial evaluation reports for management approval.
• Assist in placement of purchase orders within bid validity time and ensure timely delivery of goods after management approval.
• Prepare Stamp Paper and Warranty Undertaking from successful suppliers.
• Before issuance of PO, confirm material status of GST/NRGST through the Finance Department.
• Assist in release of Bid Bonds after approval of Commercial Evaluation.
• PBG release of successful bidders shall be processed after complete delivery of material/goods as per PO.
• Process replacement of defective materials by suppliers, follow up with suppliers for outstanding orders.
• Maintain a log of actions in the Oracle Financial Systems and provide status updates.
• Comply with risk management framework and participate in risk management activities.
