Job summary

Connect Logistics is seeking a Procurement / Purchase Officer to serve as the core buyer, ensuring warehouse and office operations stay equipped and compliant. You will evaluate suppliers, process PRs/POs, negotiate prices, and track deliveries within budget while upholding QSHE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of hands-on procurement experience within warehousing, 3PL, or corporate environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Procurement Ethics & Compliance: Conduct all procurement activities with high integrity, upholding corporate ethics, transparency, and company policies.
• Requisition & Priority Processing: Receive approved requisitions from the Manager, complete necessary documentation, and classify item priority for efficient processing.
• Requirement & Sample Verification: Coordinate with requestors to ensure exact material specifications and secure samples before purchase when needed.
• Vendor Management & Delivery Tracking: Liaise with vendors to negotiate and ensure timely delivery of goods in required quantities and quality.
• Documentation & Financial Records: Maintain receipts, invoices, payment records, and procurement documentation for approvals and audits.
• Inventory Tracking & Gap Reporting: Keep records of office supply inventory and report gaps to the manager.
• Market Intelligence & Cost Optimization: Gather market price information for frequently purchased items.
• Core Item Sourcing: Manage purchasing for office stationery, PPE, staff uniforms, janitorial products, and daily facility consumables.
