Job summary

Zones is seeking a Project Manager 2 to lead investigations into undefined areas, define scope, and drive measurable deliverables using PMO principles. You will partner with senior stakeholders across Partner and Product Management, Purchasing, Operations, IT, Finance, and Sales to understand and prioritize initiatives to improve organizational performance.

The candidate should have 5+ years in program/project management within technology or operations, plus a Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• PMP, ITIL or equivalent Certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in program/project management, process engineering or strategy within tech/operations.
• Leadership skills: experience leading a portfolio of programs and teams.
• Ability to interpret ambiguous requirements and develop strategy.
• Strong analytical and communication skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Formulate strategy, plans and objectives for programs and projects.
• Demonstrable improvement of KPIs vs baseline measurements.
• Ensure timely completion of initiatives within budget and schedule.
• Manage project scope, budget and schedule for successful delivery.
• Ensure tasks are resolved within set time constraints with proper task management.
• Provide weekly status reports covering engagements, utilization, risks and portfolio status.
• Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders and executive management.
