Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking a seasoned Employee Banking Relationship Manager to drive acquisition, development, and deepening of corporate client relationships and their employees. The role focuses on securing payroll mandates, tailoring propositions, and expanding employee penetration to generate sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• At least five years of Employee Banking or transactional banking experience.
• Proven ability to acquire corporate payroll or Employee Banking mandates.
• Ability to engage and influence senior corporate decision-makers.
• Strong customer experience and portfolio management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire corporate Employee Banking mandates meeting payroll criteria.
• Present Employee Banking propositions and develop tailored solutions.
• Build relationships with senior corporate stakeholders to secure new clients.
• Develop internal relationships across banking teams to generate leads.
• Manage and deepen existing corporate relationships to increase employee penetration.
• Coordinate payroll accounts, bundled offerings and cross-selling opportunities.
• Collaborate with client service and operations to ensure onboarding and service delivery.
• Support and guide junior Business Development Executives to meet targets.
