Job summary

Kacific Broadband Satellites Limited is seeking a Service Delivery Engineer in Pakistan to lead field deployment, coordinate with contractors and suppliers, and ensure timely installation and activation of satellite equipment. The role includes customer liaison, progress reporting, and on-site support.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of radio transmission and telecom architectures, and be willing to relocate to field sites as required.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of radio transmission: satellite or microwave or mobile networks.
• Understanding of telecom network architecture: access, transmission, core network.
• Experience in project deployment management and coordination.
• Open for moving to the field.
• Understanding of telecom infrastructure is a plus: towers, power supply.

Responsibilities

• Field deployment management and coordination with sub-contractors for installation and commissioning.
• Coordinate with supply chain for procurement, transport and delivery of equipment to site.
• Coordinate with technical teams, NOC and external suppliers for configuration and activation of equipment.
• Interface with customers for project progress reports and acceptance.
• Train customers for installation, activation and troubleshooting of terminals; provide on-field support.

Job Requirements

Field deployment management and coordination:

• To manage the sub-contractors for the installation and commissioning of equipment on the field
• To coordinate with the supply chain team for the procurement, transport, and delivery of the equipment on the field
• To coordinate with the technical team, the NOC and external suppliers for the configuration and activation of the equipment
• To interface with the customer for the project progress reports
• To get the project acceptance from the customer

Installation, customer support and training

• To train customers for installation, activation and troubleshooting of terminals.
• To support customers on the field when required.
• To monitor the performance of the terminals in the Pakistan.
• To perform any ad hoc tasks as assigned by the manager.

Required competence and experience

• Understanding of telecom network architecture: access, transmission, core network
• Experience in project deployment management and coordination
