Job Summary
We are looking for a senior commercial leader to take ownership of an assigned enterprise sales business, its customers, growth, profitability, pipeline, and execution.This role goes beyond managing sales activity. You will decide where the team should focus, turn regional priorities into clear commercial actions, lead the opportunities that matter most, and create greater predictability in performance.
Responsibilities
- Own the assigned team’s revenue, profitability, new-business, retention, and portfolio-growth objectives.
- Provide senior leadership to an assigned Enterprise Sales team, ensuring clarity of direction, disciplined execution, and achievement of individual and team targets.
- Oversee the performance and growth of an assigned enterprise customer portfolio across revenue, profitability, retention, account expansion, and new-business development.
- Maintain a strong operating rhythm through structured reviews of pipeline, forecasts, customer accounts, sales activity, and target performance.
- Lead the team’s most important and complex sales opportunities, from customer engagement and solution development through commercial negotiation, contract execution, and handover.
- Strengthen relationships with strategic customers by engaging business leaders, technology executives, procurement teams, and other senior decision-makers.
- Relevant industry experience will be an added advantage; however, proven success in complex enterprise or B2B sales is more important.
- Identify and develop potential future leaders within the team to strengthen succession readiness and management capability.
- Contribute commercial insights and recommendations to regional business reviews, planning discussions, and strategic sales initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline. An MBA will be an added advantage.
- 10–12 years of Enterprise or B2B Sales experience, including at least 4–5 years in a sales leadership role.
- Relevant industry experience will be an added advantage; however, proven success in complex enterprise or B2B sales is more important.
- Proven experience managing an Enterprise Sales team and a significant customer portfolio.
- Demonstrated success in acquiring major enterprise customers, expanding strategic accounts, and consistently achieving revenue targets.
- Sound commercial judgment across pricing, proposal development, profitability, contract negotiation, and risk management.
- Excellent executive communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and confidence in handling customer and commercial escalations.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems, sales forecasting, pipeline governance, account planning, and performance reporting.
