Job summary

XAD Technologies in Islamabad, Pakistan, seeks an experienced VAS Engineer to deploy, maintain, and optimize core and transport networks using Huawei or ZTE equipment. You will work with value-added services to ensure maximum availability and rapid incident resolution.

Onsite, you will own operational support, monitor alarms, perform RCAs, respond to trouble tickets, and coordinate with R&D, field technicians, and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field is required.
• 5+ years of hands-on telecom engineering experience with core/transport networks.
• Experience with Huawei or ZTE hardware/software platforms is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and maintain advanced telecom infrastructure using Huawei or ZTE gear.
• Monitor alarms and performance metrics; perform RCAs and root-cause analysis.
• Respond to trouble tickets and manage incident escalations within SLA guidelines.
• Collaborate with R&D, field teams, and clients to resolve complex issues.
• Document network configurations, audit security, and support upgrades.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for patches and maintenance tasks.
