Job summary

Indus Hospital in Karachi invites a Senior Technologist to join the Clinical Laboratories, focusing on chemical pathology. The role requires 5–8 years of technologist experience and a BS in MLT, with rotational shifts (morning, evening, night) and a commitment to accurate biochemical testing and reporting.

The successful candidate will calibrate and maintain analyzers, perform QC and proficiency testing, and ensure compliance with SOPs and accreditation standards while supporting team training

Qualifications

• BS - MLT degree is required.
• 5–8 years of experience as Technologist / Staff Technologist in Chemical Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Perform biochemical testing and analysis of clinical specimens (blood, urine, body fluids) and report results accurately and timely.
• Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers; perform quality control, proficiency testing, and method verification per SOPs and accreditation standards.
• Review and interpret test results, communicate critical findings, and ensure proper sample handling, storage and rejection protocols.
• Support inventory management, data recording and analysis, staff training, quality assurance, and other departmental operations as assigned.
