Role Description

The Senior Student Counselor will provide expert guidance to students on international study options, including program selection, country and institution choice, and application requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, assessing academic and career goals, advising on admissions and scholarship opportunities, and supporting students with documentation and visa-related processes. The role involves maintaining strong relationships with students and guardians, offering timely updates, and ensuring a high standard of customer service throughout the counseling journey. The Senior Student Counselor will also collaborate with internal teams and international partners, contribute to outreach activities, and participate in seminars or events to promote study abroad opportunities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lahore.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to advise learners on suitable academic pathways and long-term goals.
• Candidates should demonstrate excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with students, families, and institutional partners.
• Candidates should have a solid understanding of Education systems, particularly international higher education structures, admission criteria, and scholarship options.
• Candidates should ideally have experience in study abroad consulting, higher education advising, or a related field.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple student cases simultaneously are beneficial.
• Proficiency in English and local languages, and familiarity with international application and visa processes, will be an advantage.
