Job Description: Pathways Global Education Pvt. Ltd. based in Lahore is an international education consultancy that helps students secure admission to reputable universities abroad. We provide end-to-end guidance from course and university selection to application support and pre-departure briefings. As an Educational Counselor you will be a primary student-facing advisor responsible for assessing student profiles, recommending appropriate study pathways, and managing application processes while maintaining Pathways Global's high standards of service.
Responsibilities
- Assess student needs: Conduct one-on-one consultations to evaluate academic background, aspirations, language proficiency, and financial considerations.
- Provide tailored guidance: Recommend suitable courses, universities, and countries based on each student's profile and career goals.
- Manage application process: Assist with document preparation, statement of purpose review, application submissions, and tracking of admission status.
- Visa & pre-departure support: Prepare students for visa interviews, review supporting documentation, and conduct pre-departure orientations covering accommodation, culture, and compliance.
- Maintain records & follow-up: Keep accurate CRM records of consultations and application milestones; follow up with students and partner institutions until enrollment is confirmed.
- Collaborate with partners: Liaise with university representatives, testing agencies, and internal teams to resolve queries and improve placement outcomes.
- Outreach and engagement: Participate in outreach events, webinars, and campus visits to identify prospective students and raise the company's profile.

Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English; ability to counsel students and parents clearly and empathetically.
- In-depth knowledge of international higher education systems and popular destinations (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, EU) and common application requirements.
- Experience with application platforms, document review, and statement of purpose/resume editing.
- Familiarity with student visa procedures, required documentation, and interview preparation techniques.
- CRM competency for tracking leads, consult notes, and application stages; good organizational and time-management skills.
- Sales orientation with the ability to convert inquiries into confirmed applicants while maintaining ethical advisory standards.
- Attention to detail for reviewing academic transcripts, financial evidence, and admission offers.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and handle confidential student data with discretion.
