Job summary
Contour Software seeks an experienced Senior QA Analyst to join the QA team and test modern web, mobile, and API-based applications. You will design automation, validate data, and drive QA productivity with AI-assisted tools in a distributed, on-site setting.
The role requires hands-on UI and API test automation, strong knowledge of Playwright and REST APIs, and CI/CD integration. You will be part of Contour's global center, collaborating with the onshore R&D teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of professional QA experience with significant hands-on automation.
- Strong experience testing web, desktop, and/or mobile applications.
- Experience testing applications developed using Blazor and/or .NET MAUI.
- Strong hands-on experience with UI test automation using Playwright or similar frameworks.
- Strong experience with API testing and automation, particularly REST APIs and JSON-based services.
- Experience using Postman, REST-assured, Playwright API, or equivalent API testing technologies.
- Good knowledge of SQL with the ability to perform database validation, data reconciliation, and backend testing.
- Experience designing functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing strategies.
- Hands-on experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Experience working with source-control platforms such as Git, GitHub, Azure Repos, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, defect lifecycle, test design techniques, and software quality engineering practices.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; ability to investigate failures independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with distributed engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automated testing solutions for web, mobile, and API-based applications.
- Perform comprehensive functional and data validation across multiple platforms.
- Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve test generation, execution, maintenance, and QA productivity.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore R&D teams to ensure quality across releases.
- Work within Contour Software Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad offices as part of the resource-center team.

Their platform and professional services bridge the gap between human resources, finance, and global mobility teams.
We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Analyst to join our QA team and support the testing of modern web, mobile, and API-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in UI and API test automation, preferably with exposure to Blazor and/or .NET MAUI applications, and a strong understanding of modern software testing and CI/CD practices.
The role requires a resource who can independently design and maintain automated testing solutions, perform comprehensive functional and data validation, and leverage AI-assisted tools and agents to improve test generation, execution, maintenance, and overall QA productivity.
The selected individual will work in the Contour Software Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad office, working as part of the resource‑center team, as an extension of the onshore R&D team.
