Contour Contour Software in Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad is seeking an Intermediate/Senior Web Developer to turn business needs into scalable web apps using modern web tech. You will work within an AI-Driven Development Lifecycle, coordinating the development of robust, standards-compliant solutions with human oversight.

You will collaborate across divisions in a global CSI-backed environment, applying OOP, SOLID, and REST API expertise while delivering reliable software and contributing to code

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 4+ years in software development.
• Able to estimate and plan development tasks.
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core, ES6, REST APIs, and SQL Server.
• Solid understanding of GIT, OOP and SOLID principles.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Jira is desirable.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted development tools and critical review of AI output.

POSITION

We are seeking an Intermediate/Senior Web Developer to convert business requirements into functional, standards-compliant websites and web applications that generate revenue, increase productivity, or minimize ongoing costs. This individual leverages OOP patterns, modern web technologies, and AI-enabled development practices to coordinate the development of highly scalable web applications. The role is expected to work within an AI-Driven Development Lifecycle, where developers use AI tools responsibly across requirements analysis, solution design, coding, testing, documentation, code review, and production support while maintaining human oversight, engineering judgment, and accountability for final outcomes. The successful hire will work from the Contour Software Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad office as part of the resource-center team that is an extension of the division-based R&D department.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Translate designs into functional Internet applications, websites, and other browser-based tools
• Adhere to web development standards for the development team
• Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver results in a timely manner as an individual and as a technical team member on web projects

• Use AI tools as part of the development workflow to clarify requirements, identify gaps and edge cases, generate or refactor code, create unit and regression tests, improve documentation, and support code reviews while validating all AI-generated outputs before acceptance

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or technical-related field with courses and training in web design, usability, and development or equivalent experience.
• Proven 4+ years in software development.
• Able to create accurate time estimates and development plans for upcoming projects, reviews and validates estimates and development tasks from junior team member
• Excellent understanding of a broad range of development languages and frameworks including but not limited to ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core, ES6, Bootstrap, REST APIs, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, LINQ, MS SQL Server, JavaScript, and web standards (WCAG 2, HTML5, CSS3, etc.)
• Strong understanding of source code management technologies (GIT)
• Strong understanding of OOP and Solid principles
• Basic working knowledge of Azure DevOps and Jira is desirable
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to develop an understanding of a large and complex code base.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Amazon Q Developer, ChatGPT, or similar tools for coding, debugging, documentation, test generation, and technical research
• Ability to critically review AI-generated code and technical recommendations for correctness, maintainability, performance, security, architecture fit, and alignment with business requirements
• Experience applying AI-DLC or AI-assisted SDLC practices across requirements analysis, design exploration, implementation, automated testing, code review, deployment readiness, and ongoing maintenance
