Job summary
Contour Software’s Global Centre in Pakistan seeks a Senior SQA Analyst to drive UI and API test automation for web, mobile, and API-based applications. You will design automated solutions, perform comprehensive validation, and work with AI-assisted tools to boost QA productivity.
The role operates from Contour offices in Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad as part of a distributed R&D team. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of QA automation experience, hands-on with Blazor/.NET MAUI, Playwright, REST APIs,
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of professional QA experience with hands-on automation.
- Experience testing web, desktop, and/or mobile applications.
- Experience testing Blazor and/or .NET MAUI applications.
- Hands-on UI automation using Playwright or similar frameworks.
- API testing and automation with REST APIs and JSON services.
- Experience with Postman, REST-assured, Playwright API.
- SQL knowledge for data validation and backend testing.
- Experience designing testing strategies and integrating tests with CI/CD.
- Strong collaboration and communication in distributed teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automated testing solutions for web, mobile, and API apps.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve test generation and maintenance.
- Collaborate with onshore/offshore R&D teams in a global centre.

Their platform and professional services bridge the gap between human resources, finance, and global mobility teams.
We are looking for an experienced Senior SQA Analyst to join our QA team and support the testing of modern web, mobile, and API-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience in UI and API test automation, preferably with exposure to Blazor and/or .NET MAUI applications, and a strong understanding of modern software testing and CI/CD practices. The role requires a resource who can independently design and maintain automated testing solutions, perform comprehensive functional and data validation, and leverage AI‑assisted tools and agents to improve test generation, execution, maintenance, and overall QA productivity. The selected individual will work in the Contour Software Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad office, working as part of the resource‑center team, as an extension of the onshore R&D team.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of professional QA experience, with significant hands‑on automation experience.
- Strong experience testing web, desktop, and/or mobile applications.
- Experience testing applications developed using Blazor and/or .NET MAUI.
- Strong hands‑on experience with UI test automation using Playwright, or similar automation frameworks.
- Strong experience with API testing and automation, particularly REST APIs and JSON‑based services.
- Experience using tools such as Postman, REST‑assured, Playwright API, or equivalent API testing technologies.
- Good knowledge of SQL with the ability to perform database validation, data reconciliation, and backend testing.
- Experience designing functional, regression, integration, system, and end‑to‑end testing strategies.
- Hands‑on experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using technologies such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
- Experience working with source‑control platforms such as Git, GitHub, Azure Repos, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, defect lifecycle, test design techniques, and software quality engineering practices.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to investigate application, API, database, and automation failures independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with distributed engineering teams.
