Job summary

Mashreq Careers is seeking a Banking Operations professional in Pakistan to handle remittance transactions, including NSTP, inward/outward remittances, and RTGS, while ensuring adherence to TAT and regulatory guidelines.

You will coordinate with local and international banks, perform compliance screening, and support system upgrades. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of banking operations experience, preferably in remittances.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of data models and analysis.
• Good verbal/written communication and computer operating skills.
• Good knowledge of general banking rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process remittance transactions, NSTP inward and outward, and RTGS payments within standard TAT.
• Process inward clearing cheques and funds transfers with accuracy and adherence to procedures.
• Ensure timely settlement of GLs for cash and cheque deposits and reconciling with partner banks.
• Submit regulatory reporting on time and accurately.
• Coordinate with local and foreign correspondent banks for payment tracking.
• Screen transactions against sanction lists and escalate flagged cases to Compliance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and provide error-free service.
• Acquire knowledge of processes and operating systems and complete assigned training.
