Job summary

Mashreq Bank in Pakistan seeks a Trade Operations professional to manage export processes and related activities per bank policies, SOPs and ICC guidelines. You will sanction-check parties, process documents, authorize SWIFT messages and support service quality and revenue integrity.

The role requires 2–4 years in Trade Operations, strong understanding of export LC payments and related accounting, and solid MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• At least 2-4 years of experience in Trade Operations.
• Expert knowledge of Export LC payments, discounting and risk participations.
• Understanding of accounting entries and UATs.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and be detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform sanction checking of relevant parties in documents
• Handle Commodity Trade Operations documents
• Authorize/input transactions into the system and prepare SWIFT messages
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks from Team Head
• Share knowledge gaps with line manager to address customer service issues
• Ensure no revenue leakage due to missed charges and no Nostro reconciliation issues
