Qualifications

• DEA in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of relevant quantity surveying experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and under pressure.
• Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning with accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and methodical approach to problem solving.
• Collaborative team player with cross-functional experience.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Review plans and prepare detailed quantity requirements for costing.
• Scrutinize costs; negotiate with contractors for favorable outcomes.
• Coordinate with site managers, client contractors, and subcontractors.
• Prepare reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, and risk assessments.
• Advise on cost-saving improvements and procurement strategies.
• Monitor material usage and manage procurement to ensure supply.
• Document design changes and update budgets accordingly.
• Build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Travel between head office and project sites.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
