Job summary

Al Rehmat Builders (Pvt.) Ltd. in Multan seeks a Quantity Surveyor to support cost control, procurement, measurement, and commercial administration through project execution.

The role involves preparing quantity takeoffs and BOQ, reviewing drawings and contracts, and coordinating with project teams to ensure accurate commercial records and timely payments. This is a full-time, on-site position in Multan, with travel required and a salary range of PKR 80,000–250,000.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, construction measurement, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and cost estimation.
• Experience interpreting civil, structural, architectural, and MEP drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Ability to prepare interim payment certificates, subcontractor bills, variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and construction cost-control spreadsheets.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and relevant estimating or ERP software is advantageous.
• Understanding of procurement processes, supplier and subcontractor comparison, material reconciliation, and budget monitoring.
• Strong command of the MRS rates system.
• Accurate documentation, numerical analysis, negotiation, and commercial reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality and professional integrity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs, bills of quantities, cost estimates, rate analyses, and tender documentation for civil and building works.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and scope requirements to identify quantities, pricing considerations, and potential commercial risks.
• Measure completed work at site and prepare interim payment applications, subcontractor valuations, variations, and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, commitments, material usage, and budget performance while maintaining accurate commercial records.
• Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations and support procurement decisions in coordination with project teams.
• Assist with contract administration, change orders, claims documentation, and commercial reporting for timely project delivery.
• Coordinate with engineers, site teams, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
