Job summary

Chai Vision is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to establish and own the QA lifecycle across engineering teams in Pakistan. You will design test strategies, perform API and integration testing, and drive automation to ensure release quality.

This role collaborates with Development, AI, IoT, and product leadership to deliver reliable software for our ecommerce platforms. As the first dedicated QA hire, you'll lay the groundwork for scalable QA practices, build regression suites, and define quality

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
3–5+ years of QA/testing experience in a professional setting.
Strong understanding of functional, regression, API, and end‑to‑end testing.
Experience with API testing tools like Postman or Insomnia.
Proficiency in test automation and working with web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

Translate requirements into comprehensive test scenarios and plans.
Perform functional, regression, and end‑to‑end testing across web, mobile, APIs, and IoT components.
Validate REST APIs, service integrations, authentication, and data flows between systems.
Identify repetitive tests and build/maintain automated test suites; integrate tests into CI/CD.
Lead QA testing activities with cross‑functional teams and support release readiness.
