siParadigm, an AI company building healthcare technology products for the US market, is seeking a QA Engineer to own the QA function for the Islamabad engineering team.

You will define testing strategy and release criteria, build regression, smoke, and integration tests, and enforce readiness before shipping. The role requires 3 years QA experience, AI/ML testing, JMeter/OWASP ZAP, AWS/Azure, Docker, and ISTQB.

Qualifications

• 3 years of QA engineering experience.
• Experience testing AI/ML-powered or data-intensive products.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM evaluation tooling and frameworks.
• Exposure to healthcare IT and regulated software validation.
• Performance and security testing with standard tools.
• Cloud experience (AWS or Azure) and containerization.
• ISTQB certification.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the QA function.
• Define and implement the testing strategy, standards, and release criteria for the Islamabad engineering team.
• Build and maintain regression, smoke, and integration test suites; introduce a defect lifecycle and quality reporting the leadership team can act on.
• Serve as the quality gate for releases — define what “ready to ship” means and enforce it.
• Design and maintain automated test frameworks for web UI, REST APIs, and backend services using Python-based tooling.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD so defects surface before merge, not after deployment.
• Perform API, database, and performance/load testing.

Job Specification:

• 3 years of QA engineering experience.
• Experience testing AI/ML-powered or data-intensive products.
• Familiarity with LLM/model evaluation tooling, such as DeepEval, Ragas, promptfoo, or custom evaluation harnesses.
• Exposure to healthcare IT, including HL7/FHIR, LIS/LIMS, EMR integrations, or regulated software validation.
• Performance and security testing using JMeter and OWASP ZAP.
• Cloud experience with AWS or Azure.
• Docker.
• ISTQB certification.
