Job summary

PakWheels.com is seeking a Software Test Engineer/QA Engineer to ensure quality of digital products across web and mobile platforms. You will translate requirements into test plans, develop automated suites, validate AI features, and support high-quality releases.

You will write automated scripts, perform functional and regression testing, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with Product and Development teams to resolve defects and improve QA processes.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience as a Software Test/QA Engineer.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, IT, CS or related field.
• Proficient in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JS/TS).
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum and QA fundamentals.
• Experience with automation tools (Appium, Cypress, Selenium, Playwright).
• Familiarity with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.) and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Write, update, and maintain automated test scripts for Web, Mobile, and APIs.
• Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests.
• Use AI-assisted testing tools to generate scenarios and improve coverage.
• Define acceptance criteria and validate features against requirements.
• Test AI-developed features for accuracy and bias, and report findings.
• Collaborate with Product and Development to investigate and fix defects.
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines and monitor test results.
