You will design and execute test plans, build automated suites with Selenium and Playwright, and perform API testing to validate endpoints and error handling. Strong communication in an agile environment is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing.
• Experience with Selenium and/or Playwright for automation.
• Knowledge of API testing tools and techniques.
• Ability to write clear test plans, test cases, and defect reports.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to lead quality assurance efforts across our software projects — from test strategy and planning through automation and release sign-off. You will work closely with developers and business analysts to ensure every release meets a high bar for reliability, performance, and usability.

Responsibilities

• Own the test strategy and test plans for assigned projects, covering functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium and/or Playwright.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing for complex features and edge cases.
• Test and validate REST APIs, including request/response and error-handling scenarios.
• Track, document, and prioritize defects, working closely with developers through to resolution.
• Establish and improve QA processes, standards, and best practices across the team.
• Participate in sprint planning and provide realistic testing estimates and risk assessments.
• Support release readiness through regression cycles and sign-off reporting.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing.
• Practical experience with Selenium and/or Playwright for automation.
• Solid understanding of API testing tools and techniques.
• Experience writing clear test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
• Comfortable working directly with developers in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• A track record of improving test coverage and release quality on real production projects.

Nice to Have

• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
• Experience with performance/load testing tools.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes.
