Job summary

qordata is seeking a Senior SQA Engineer to drive quality across our B2B SaaS and AI‑powered platforms. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to identify risks, build automation, and ensure reliable releases.

You will design and maintain QA automation frameworks, test AI-powered features, perform API and data quality testing with SQL, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines. Mentoring juniors and shaping best practices are part of the role.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in Software QA/SQA, preferably testing web-based B2B SaaS products.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and SDLC.
• Hands-on experience with QA automation using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or equivalent tools.
• Experience testing web applications, REST APIs, and integrations.
• Strong SQL and database testing skills.
• Experience with AI-assisted QA automation and GenAI testing tools.
• Understanding of testing AI/ML and GenAI-powered apps, including AI output evaluation.
• Understanding CI/CD, Git, and modern software development practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable taking ownership of product quality and learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and designs to identify quality risks.
• Test B2B SaaS web applications across functional, integration, regression, API, system, exploratory, and end-to-end levels.
• Design, develop, and maintain QA automation frameworks and test suites.
• Leverage AI-driven QA automation for test creation, execution, and coverage.
• Test AI-powered applications for output quality, accuracy, and edge cases.
• Perform API and data quality testing using SQL and appropriate tools.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
• Investigate defects and production issues; perform root-cause analysis with engineering.
• Manage defects in JIRA and track to resolution.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to improve quality.
• Support releases with quality assessments and recommendations.
• Mentor junior SQA engineers and promote modern QA practices.

As a Senior SQA Engineer, you will be responsible for driving quality across our B2B SaaS and AI-powered applications throughout the SDLC. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to identify risks early, build robust automation, test AI-powered features, and ensure reliable product releases.

When You Are Working With Us, You Will Be

• Reviewing requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical designs to identify quality risks and gaps
• Testing B2B SaaS web applications, including functional, integration, regression, API, system, exploratory, and end-to-end testing
• Designing, developing, and maintaining QA automation frameworks and automated test suites
• Leveraging AI-driven QA automation for test creation, execution, analysis, defect detection, and improving test coverage
• Testing AI-powered applications and features, including AI output quality, accuracy, consistency, reliability, edge cases, and failure scenarios
• Performing API and data quality testing using SQL and appropriate testing tools
• Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and contributing to automated quality gates
• Investigating defects and production issues, performing root-cause analysis, and working with Engineering to resolve them
• Managing defects in JIRA and ensuring issues are tracked through resolution
• Collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Data teams throughout the SDLC to continuously improve product quality
• Supporting releases and providing quality assessments and release recommendations
• Mentoring junior SQA engineers and promoting modern QA practices

You Can Get In If You Can Prove That You
