Convo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Python with 6+ years of backend engineering experience to build scalable and secure backend services, Studio workflows, MCP servers, APIs, and multi-tenant platforms. You will work on advanced Python/FastAPI microservices, secure API design, and cloud-based architectures in a production environment.
The role emphasizes building reliable systems with strong automation, testing, and observability, including token metering, auth, and tenant isolation
Qualifications
- 6+ years backend engineering experience with 3+ years in cloud microservices or multi-tenant platforms.
- Advanced Python and FastAPI production service development.
- REST API design with MCP servers and structured tool interfaces.
- Multi-tenant security, identity integration and fine-grained authorization.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Python/FastAPI microservices for Studio and marketplace workflows.
- Expose versioned REST and MCP interfaces over approved data and agent capabilities.
- Implement outbound contracts for data products, events, cached views and partner integrations.
- Build token/usage metering, rate limits, quotas and auditable consumption records.
- Implement authentication, authorization, tenant isolation and secure partner/API access.
- Add automated contract, security, integration and operational tests with complete service telemetry.
