Job summary
Convo is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Python in Pakistan to build scalable and secure backend services, Studio workflows, MCP servers, APIs and multi-tenant platforms. You will work on authentication/authorization, API security and automated testing to ensure production-grade reliability.
You will design and implement Python/FastAPI microservices, expose versioned REST and MCP interfaces, and contribute to metering, rate limiting and tenant isolation.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of backend engineering experience.
- 3+ years with cloud microservices, secure APIs or multi-tenant platforms.
- Strong Python and production FastAPI service development.
- REST API design with MCP servers and structured interfaces.
- Cloud microservices, containerization and distributed-service reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Python/FastAPI microservices for Studio and marketplace workflows.
- Expose versioned REST and MCP interfaces over approved data and agent capabilities.
- Implement outbound contracts for data products, events, cached views and partner integrations.
- Build token/usage metering, rate limits, quotas and auditable consumption records.
- Implement authentication, authorization, tenant isolation and secure partner/API access.
- Add automated contract, security, integration and operational tests with complete service telemetry.
