Job summary

JazzWorld is seeking a PS Core Planning Expert in Islamabad to translate growth and requirements into Packet Core planning solutions. You will design, expand, integrate, and evolve Packet Core networks and Telco Cloud infrastructure, coordinating with internal teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronics, or Software Engineering.
• 4–10 years of experience in Packet Core domain covering 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G-NSA, 5G SA technologies.
• Hands-on experience in Packet Core configuration for 2G/4G, 5G NSA/SA, IMS, DRA/DEA/USC, data roaming testing and troubleshooting, PS KPIs & dashboards.
• Deep understanding of Cloud Packet Core networks, call flows, inbound/outbound roaming, VoLTE, eSRVCC, VoNR, and Packet Core KPIs.
• Hands-on expertise with Huawei Cloud PS Core nodes such as CloudUSN, CloudCG, UNC-AMF, UNC-SMF, UDG, CloudUDN, EPSN, ePDG, MAE-Access.
• Excellent understanding of 2G/4G/5G architecture, interfaces, protocols, NFVI/NFVO, SDN, MANO, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, VNFs/CNFs.

Responsibilities

• Translate network growth, business and technology requirements into effective Packet Core planning solutions.
• Plan, design, and support Packet Core deployments involving nodes listed in the requirements and manage testing/troubleshooting during planning.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely end-to-end delivery of Packet Core projects.
• Monitor and analyze KPIs, prepare DPI configurations, and oversee KPI dashboards during planning and upgrade activities.
• Support network optimization and parameter standardization in line with the roadmap.
