Job summary

JazzWorld is seeking an Expert PS Core Operations lead in Islamabad to manage daily Packet Core Network operations, including 5G NSA monitoring and node management. You will collaborate with CS, IMS Core, VAS, IP Core, and engineering teams, driving QoS, incident response, and capacity planning within a secure, scalable framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronics, or Software Engineering.
• 4–8 years of experience in Packet Core Domain in 2G, 3G,4G, 5G-NSA, 5G SA Technologies.
• Expertise in network operations and configuration prep for Huawei Cloud EPC nodes.
• Deep understanding of PS Core Nodes and NFVI Core networks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Packet Core Network infrastructure, including 5G NSA monitoring.
• Monitor network performance, usage, and health to ensure high availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, escalating as needed.
• Implement routine maintenance with minimal disruption.
• Manage high-priority incidents and coordinate rapid restoration.
• Conduct root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Ensure QA/logging/documentation of incidents and changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on capacity management and enhancements.
• Generate regular performance and incident reports for decision-making.
