Job summary

Nysonian in Islamabad is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to own the design and production operation of our agentic AI systems end to end. You will manage models, orchestration, tool calls, guardrails, and the cloud infrastructure they run on, while collaborating across our commerce platform and internal CRM.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building and operating production software with real ownership after deploy.
• Strong AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC); GPU workloads or self-hosted inference is a plus.
• Production agentic AI experience with tool calling, MCP, structured outputs and schema validation.
• Experience designing multi-agent systems and orchestration patterns with reliability.
• LLM engineering at scale including guardrails, grounding, and prompt security.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship multi-agent systems with orchestrator/worker patterns and human-in-the-loop escalation.
• Build and maintain the tool layer: MCP servers, tool-calling schemas, and integrations (Shopify GraphQL, ShipHero, Gorgias, Klaviyo).
• Operate a multi-model stack, route by cost/latency, and evaluate new releases in production.
• Own guardrails: hallucination checks, safety, PII handling, least-privilege scopes, and money-related limits.
• Develop evaluation/observability: golden datasets, regression suites, and dashboards to prove improvements.
• Design and operate the RAG layer: chunks, embeddings, retrieval, vector store hygiene.
• Extend production services on AWS and MERN stack including Nysonik CRM.
• Ensure CI/CD, versioning, staged rollouts, idempotency, cost tracking, on-call ownership.
• Make autonomous monetary actions idempotent and auditable.
