Job summary

Navigator HR Consulting Solutions is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to architect, build, test, deploy, and optimize scalable backend systems leveraging AI technologies. You will rapidly evaluate emerging technologies, integrate LLMs, design intelligent APIs, and build AI-powered services that can scale globally.

You will design scalable architectures, secure REST/GraphQL APIs, and cloud-native platforms, while mentoring junior developers and guiding engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, Java, or Go.
• Experience with FastAPI, Express.js, Spring Boot, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, or similar technologies.
• Experience designing scalable APIs.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience deploying on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable backend architectures from the ground up.
• Build secure RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, and microservices.
• Develop cloud-native backend platforms.
• Design scalable databases and caching strategies.
• Integrate multiple AI providers and LLM APIs.
• Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
• Develop AI agents capable of reasoning, orchestration, and workflow automation.
• Design prompt engineering frameworks and AI pipelines.
• Implement vector databases and semantic search.
• Develop event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing.
• Build automated testing frameworks.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor, optimize, and secure production environments.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices.
