Job summary

Nysonian Inc. in Islamabad is seeking an automation engineer who loves building real systems, not just configuring them. You will design and refine agentic AI workflows that read data, make decisions, and take actions, and you will craft prompts and backend services to support them.

We value hands-on developers who have built something live, with experience in Python web frameworks and NLP concepts, and who enjoy pushing boundaries with new AI tools.

Qualifications

• Experience with agentic AI concepts: tool calling, multi-step reasoning, memory, and coordinating multiple agents.
• Practical experience with at least one agent framework such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or OpenAI/Anthropic SDKs.
• Backend development in Python with FastAPI, Flask, or Django, including deploying an API.
• Understanding of NLP, context windows, tokens, embeddings, and retrieval vs memory.
• Prompt engineering as a real practice with real-case testing.
• Foundation in data science and ML: Python stack (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
• At least one end-to-end project in this space, professional or personal.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain agentic workflows that read customer data, make decisions, and take actions (refunds, updates, escalations).
• Write, test, and refine prompts to handle model hallucinations or overconfidence.
• Build and scale backend endpoints (FastAPI/Flask/Django) for production use.
• Work with retrieval systems (RAG), embeddings, and vector search for grounding.
• Review and improve automations in n8n and decide when to move to real code.
• Investigate odd agent outputs, trace through logs and root cause analysis.
• Stay current with model releases, benchmarks, and new coding tools.
