Aga Khan University- Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED) invites applications for Senior Coordinators to support education development projects in Pakistan. The role involves coordinating with UNICEF PS offices, government departments, and project teams, plus reporting and field activities over an 18-month grant funded contract.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social/natural sciences or relevant field, preferably with project management specialization.
• Five years in development sector with at least two years in educational development projects.
• Strong communication, documentation and event organization skills.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate AKU-IED project management with UNICEF provincial office and education departments.
• Regularly assess security and political situations in provinces/districts and update the team.
• Coordinate UNICEF participation and logistics for capacity-building events and meetings.
• Facilitate field visits, schedule meetings with stakeholders and arrange travel.
• Submit progress reports and support MER data collection efforts.
• Visit schools to supervise mentors and teachers and collect feedback.
• Support MER Specialist in monitoring field activities via PMF framework.
• Represent AKU-IED at provincial/district educational events.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual project implementation reports.
• Disseminate project successes through AKU-IED Communication Unit across forums.
• Act as Secretary to the Provincial Coordination Committee (PCC).
