Job summary

Mashreq seeks a seasoned Compliance professional to support KYC and name screening referrals, ensuring adherence to UAE/Mashreq regulatory standards, and guiding junior analysts in complex cases.

You will act as a liaison with Compliance Assurance Unit and Internal Audit, provide coaching, review high-risk KYCs, and help maintain SLAs, SOPs, and risk controls across CIBG compliance activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate with 5-10 years of corporate banking compliance experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of local regulatory rules and international requirements relevant to corporate banking including FATCA/CRS.
• Computer literate with proficient command over spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and updates of SOPs to align with regulatory changes.
• Provide coaching and quality assurance oversight to Compliance Officers and Analysts.
• Coordinate with Compliance Assurance Unit and Internal Audit to support audits and RCSA testing.
• Act as LEAN Champion for CIBG Compliance and maintain risk-based controls.
• Represent CIBG Compliance in ad hoc projects and ensure timely reporting.
