Strategic Systems International is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (C++) with 5+ years of experience to design, develop, debug, and optimize scalable desktop and backend applications. You will work with modern C++ standards (C++17/20/23), OOP, multithreading, and memory management in an Agile environment.

You will apply design patterns, STL, and SOLID principles, collaborate across teams, and contribute to code reviews and performance optimizations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in C++.
• Strong hands-on experience with C++17, C++20, and C++23.
• Proficiency in Visual C++, MFC, STL, and OOP.
• Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, smart pointers, and memory management.
• Experience with design patterns and writing efficient, maintainable code.
• Knowledge of SQL Server and COM is a plus.
• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps, including CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and SAFe/Scaled Agile is a plus.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize scalable desktop and backend applications using modern C++.
• Apply knowledge of C++17/20/23 to build reliable software solutions.
• Implement multithreaded applications with effective memory management and smart pointers.
• Apply OOP, STL, design patterns, and SOLID principles to develop maintainable code.
• Work with Visual C++/MFC/COM and SQL Server.
• Identify and resolve issues via debugging and profiling.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and refactoring for continuous improvement.
• Use Git and Azure DevOps for source control and CI/CD workflows.
• Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and scaled agile processes.
• Collaborate with teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Apply AI-assisted development practices with human oversight.
