Job summary

Leru Remote is seeking a Software Engineer to build scalable AI-enabled products across frontend and backend, collaborating with product, design, and leadership teams to deliver high‑quality solutions in a fast-paced, remote environment.

You will work with JavaScript/TypeScript, modern frameworks like React and Node.js, and AI tools to ship AI-powered features, while designing scalable APIs and cloud-based services.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of software engineering experience (full stack preferred).
• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js).
• Experience building and consuming APIs and backend services.
• Exposure to or experience with AI/ML technologies (e.g., OpenAI, LLMs, Python-based ML tools).
• Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Understanding of software development best practices (version control, testing, CI/CD).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a remote, fast‑paced environment.
• Nice to Have: Experience building AI‑powered products or features.
• Nice to Have: Familiarity with LangChain, vector databases, or prompt engineering.
