Contour Software is seeking a senior developer to help build new web products across UI, APIs, and data layers. You will work with Claude Code in an AI-DLC workflow, ship features in collaboration with Product and Dev Manager, and mentor teammates to raise code quality and design standards.

You will drive major design decisions, optimize data models, and contribute to the modernization of our web platform. A strong emphasis on AI-assisted development and robust testing underpins the role.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development, incl. 3+ years building production APIs/services in C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Hands-on experience building production UIs in React and TypeScript.
• Strong SQL Server skills: schema design, complex queries, performance tuning.
• Experience writing automated tests for back-end and front-end (xUnit, Vitest).
• Daily use of Claude Code or similar AI tool with demonstrable examples.
• Understanding of AI-DLC and its impact on planning, review, and workflows.
• Strong Git/GitHub experience with PRs and code review.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally GitHub Actions.
• Senior ownership: scope work, tradeoffs, and deliver features to release.
• Judicious use of AI, with testing/verification of AI output.

Responsabilités

• Product development: design, build, and test features across full stack (APIs, data layer, UI).
• Translate product requirements into clear, actionable work with Product and Dev Manager.
• Keep code clean, tested, and maintainable for future engineers.
• Apply AI-DLC practices; use Claude Code for planning, implementation, tests, refactoring, and code reviews.
• Review AI-generated code critically and catch issues before production.
• Help create shared team guidance and standards for AI-assisted work.
• Collaborate in GitHub for source control, branching, PRs, and code review.
• Track work in Linear; keep status and scope clear.
• Partner with Infrastructure & IT on deployments and production issues.
• Mentor teammates and raise the bar on code quality and design.
