Job summary

Codup is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong B2B eCommerce, digital commerce, and BA practice leadership to translate business needs into clear, feasible solutions. You will collaborate with clients, product teams, developers, and QA across SDLC, mentoring junior BAs and helping shape estimates and documentation.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of BA experience in IT/eCommerce, strong API/ERP/CRM integration knowledge, and hands-on experience with AI-assisted analysis

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Business Analysis experience in IT, eCommerce, or digital transformation.
• Strong knowledge of B2B eCommerce and digital commerce.
• Experience with presales, estimation, proposals, and SOWs.
• Experience with APIs, ERP/CRM integrations, and third‑party services.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart/Visio, Figma.

Responsibilities

• Lead business discovery, requirements gathering, and process analysis for complex projects.
• Understand business problems, challenge assumptions, identify gaps, and define practical solution approaches.
• Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mappings, and technical documentation.
• Analyze B2B eCommerce workflows, including pricing, customer segmentation, catalogs, orders, quotes, approvals, payments, and fulfillment.
• Analyze APIs and system integrations, including ERP, CRM, payment, shipping, and third-party platforms.
• Evaluate platform capabilities, limitations, customization requirements, dependencies, and feasibility.
• Support presales, solution consulting, estimations, SOWs, proposals, and discovery engagements.
• Manage client and internal stakeholders, communicate risks and dependencies, and maintain alignment throughout delivery.
• Collaborate with PM, Development, QA, Design, and Sales teams across the SDLC and Agile/Scrum processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and BA practice standardization.
• Mentor junior BAs and contribute to improving BA quality and delivery practices.

Required Experience & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering,
• Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6+ years of Business Analysis experience, preferably in IT, eCommerce, or digital
• transformation environments.
• Strong experience with B2B eCommerce and digital commerce.
• Experience working with international clients and cross-functional technical teams.
• Strong understanding of APIs, REST/SOAP, integrations, data flows, ERP/CRM
• systems, and third-party services.
• Experience with presales, estimation, proposals, SOWs, and solution consulting.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, SDLC, UAT, and requirements engineering.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, problem-solving,
• and decision‑making skills.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart/Visio, Figma, or similar tools.
• Practical experience using AI‑assisted tools for business analysis, requirements
• discovery, research, documentation, process analysis, solution exploration,
• estimation support, and productivity. Ability to effectively use AI to accelerate BA
• activities while applying professional judgment to validate outputs, identify gaps,
• maintain accuracy, and improve the quality and efficiency of deliverables.
• Platform & Enterprise Systems Experience
• Experience with one or more eCommerce platforms, CRM platforms, and ERP/enterprise
• systems, such as Shopify/Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, Magento/Adobe Commerce,
• WooCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce, HubSpot and similar CRM
• platforms, Oracle, P21, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central,
• Odoo, NetSuite, and other ERP/enterprise business systems.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience establishing or improving BA processes, standards, templates, and
• reusable practices.
• Experience working on complex B2B, eCommerce, ERP, CRM, and third-party
• integration initiatives.
• Experience using modern AI tools and workflows to improve analysis, documentation,
• research, solution exploration, and overall BA productivity.
