Job summary

Motive is seeking a Senior Billing Specialist in Pakistan to own accurate and timely billing operations, escalating and resolving discrepancies in the quote-to-cash cycle. The role requires attention to detail, cross‑functional collaboration, and strong documentation practices.

You will work with Sales, Customer Success, Accounting and Tax teams to ensure precise invoicing, approvals, and period-end procedures, while adhering to internal controls and SOX requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field is mandatory.
• 2-3+ years of experience in billing, payments, accounts receivable, or related function.
• Strong understanding of billing operations, payment flows, refunds, and reconciliations.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets; experience with ERP, Zuora, Salesforce or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complete billing cycle, ensure accurate invoicing and resolve discrepancies.
• Create Vendor Finance funding invoices and resolve tax issues and lender-related adjustments.
• Support Enterprise billing with complex contracts, pricing validation, and custom invoices.
• Manage card and ACH chargebacks from intake to outcome booking in line with Motive rules.
• Handle cancellations, refunds, credits, write-offs, and held‑to‑contract fees per policy.
• Perform billing audits, GL tie-outs, and month-end close support for SOX trails.
