Job summary

Contour Software in Karachi is seeking an Accounts Receivable/Billing specialist to manage billing processes and contract data. You will ensure accurate invoicing, tax treatment, and revenue recognition per agreements, collaborating with Sales, Finance and Customer Success.

The role emphasizes data quality, compliance, and continued process improvements. Candidates should have 2+ years in AR or billing, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems, preferably Dynamics 365 Finance &

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Accounts Receivable, Billing, transactional finance or similar.
• Experience processing customer billing and managing contract data.
• Strong reconciliation skills and data accuracy requirements.
• Understanding of VAT/tax treatment in billing processes.
• Strong communication across departments.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely customer billing in line with contracts.
• Create, maintain and update contract records in billing systems.
• Review contracts to ensure correct billing, tax and revenue recognition.
• Configure and maintain revenue schedules per contract terms.
• Validate customer data for accuracy and compliance.
• Raise credit notes and reissue invoices with justification.
• Investigate billing queries with internal stakeholders.
• Reconcile billing data against contracts and revenue schedules.
• Perform customer account reconciliations and invoice reconciliations.
• Support month-end activities in billing and revenue reconciliations.
