Rafhan Maize Products Co. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Agronomist to drive sustainable maize production and responsible farming practices. You will work with contract growers to disseminate best agronomic methods and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes soil and plant nutrition, pest management and efficient water and fertilizer use, while collaborating with the Maize Production Manager to optimize yield across diverse environments.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of agriculture experience, preferably maize development.
• BSc in Agriculture; Master's degree preferred.
• Expert knowledge of soil and plant nutrition, water management, pest management and crop cultural practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with contract growers and estimate crop size for management.
• Ensure compliance with ESH/rules, risk management policies, and contracts.
• Coordinate agronomic production practices to optimize yield and quality while reducing costs.
• Provide technical guidance and training to growers on safe field operations and efficient resource use.
