Job summary

Alabama Ag Credit seeks a finance professional to join its agricultural lending team. This role works with experienced staff to execute plans for collection, asset reduction, and the disposition of acquired property, under guidance.

You will learn to coordinate with legal counsel, appraisers, management, and external resources, and to evaluate private-treaty offers and loans, while ensuring FCA compliance. Extensive travel is required.

Location of the position is TBD; AA/EOE/M/F/D/V.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience and five (5)+ years of banking/agricultural lending experience.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Proven success record in outside sales.

Responsibilities

• Learn processes for collection and reduction of Special Assets.
• Coordinate with counsel, appraisers, management, and other resources.
• Develop knowledge of minimum auction reserves, foreclosure bids, and disposition of Acquired Property.
