Job summary

UNICEF is seeking a Social Behavior Change Officer (Temporary Appointment) to strengthen SBC programs in Sindh. You will support design, monitoring and evaluation of SBC activities, working with government partners, communities and stakeholders to promote healthy behaviors for children and families.

The role emphasizes capacity building, research use and cross-sector collaboration within UNICEF’s health, nutrition, WASH, child protection and education portfolios.

Qualifications

• University degree in a social or behavioral science (e.g., sociology, anthropology, communication for development, psychology) is required.
• Minimum of two years of professional experience in social development, C4D, SBC or related areas.
• Experience in a UN system agency or organization is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support in generating and utilizing research, data and evidence for SBC program design, implementation and monitoring.
• Design and implement SBC activities using behavioral evidence and stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinate SBC initiatives across communities, UC/district/provincial levels and partners.
