Job summary

Descon Engineering Limited in Lahore seeks a Specialist SAP Support to drive SAP modernization and transformation via master data management, cutover planning, and project monitoring. You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, prepare dashboards, and ensure timely issue resolution to meet project objectives.

The role requires 2-4 years in SAP-related roles, with a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/MIS and SAP S/4HANA experience being highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/MIS or related field.
• 2-4 years of SAP, transformation, data management, or IT project coordination experience.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA modernization/transformation preferred.
• SAP-related certification is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor SAP Iteration 1 and Iteration 2 activities, milestones, and deliverables.
• Support and monitor overall SAP modernization and transformation projects.
• Ensure adequate support of SAP is in place at all times and resolution of issues on timely basis
• Liaison with internal and external stakeholders; prepare dashboards and reports for decision making; act as point of contact with consultants.
• Support cutover planning, preparation, and implementation activities.
• Coordinate SAP master data implementation, validation, and readiness.
• Coordinate with SAP Basis team for system and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure and Cybersecurity teams for project readiness and dependencies; monitor and follow up on SOMAN tickets, issues, and pending actions.
• Provide PMO support, including project trackers, action logs, risk/issues tracking, and meeting coordination.
• Coordinate with Change Management for SAP transformation and organizational readiness.
• Coordinate with Internal Audit for project-related requirements, documentation, and observations.
• Prepare and consolidate SAP project status reports, dashboards, and management updates.
• Track project milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items and ensure timely follow-up.
• Facilitate coordination between business, functional, technical, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Eligibility Criteria

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
