Job summary

Scaleup Connect in Sialkot, Pakistan is seeking an experienced Sampling Supervisor to lead the garment sampling process and supervise the sample operators. You will coordinate with pattern and merchandising teams to ensure timely preparation of accurate buyer samples.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of garment construction, sample development, measurements, finishing, and effective team coordination to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of garment sampling experience, including supervision.
• Experience in sportswear, activewear, or export apparel preferred.
• Ability to read tech packs, buyer comments, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the sampling team and ensure timely completion of all sample development tasks.
• Assign work to Sample Operators according to skill level and priority.
• Guide and train Sample Operators to improve efficiency and quality.
• Report sampling progress, delays, and issues to management.
• Review requirements, patterns, trims, fabrics, and buyer instructions before execution.
• Monitor stitching, construction, finishing, measurements, and quality standards.
• Ensure samples meet buyer specs and approval requirements.
• Coordinate with Pattern Master, Merchandiser, Quality, and Production teams.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Sampling Supervisor who can manage the complete garment sampling process, supervise sample operators, coordinate with pattern and merchandising teams, and ensure timely preparation of accurate buyer samples. The role requires strong technical knowledge of garment construction, sample development, measurements, finishing, and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Sampling Team Supervision

• Supervise the sampling team and ensure timely completion of all sample development tasks.
• Assign work to Sample Operators according to skill level and work priority.
• Guide and train Sample Operators to improve efficiency and quality.
• Report sampling progress, delays, and technical issues to management.

Sample Development & Quality Control

• Review sample requirements, tech packs, patterns, trims, fabrics, and buyer instructions before execution.
• Monitor sample stitching, construction, finishing, measurements, and quality standards.
• Ensure samples are prepared according to buyer specifications and approval requirements.
• Identify and resolve sampling issues related to fitting, stitching, measurements, and finishing.

Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with Pattern Master, Merchandiser, Quality team, and Production team for sample development.
• Support preparation of development samples, fit samples, size set samples, photo samples, and pre-production samples.
• Maintain sampling records, sample status sheets, and development timelines.
• Ensure proper handling of fabrics, trims, accessories, and sample materials.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Intermediate / Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: 2–4 years of experience in garment sampling, including supervisory experience.
• Experience in sportswear, activewear, workwear, or export apparel manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and understand tech packs, buyer comments, and sample specifications.
